Reliable output through periodic maintenance

For reliable and accurate measurement and weighing results, you work with high-quality hardware and software solutions. To continuously guarantee this quality after implementation, we recommend periodic preventive maintenance. Operational (intensive) use can affect the condition and operation of our solutions in the longer term. Conditions on the shop floor also play a role. The onset of deviations in measurement and weighing results is usually not detected right away, causing the accuracy of the data in your system to gradually deteriorate. With preventive maintenance, you prevent deviations in your measurement and weighing data and extend the technical lifespan of your solution.

Contract ensures timely maintenance

We recommend our customers to have preventive maintenance carried out at least once a year. If you take out a maintenance contract for this purpose, we will ensure timely scheduling of a visit by our master data engineer. Not only are you then assured of reliable, accurate article data, but you are also informed about the technical condition and expected lifetime of your current machine. A maintenance check consists of the following activities:

  • Overall check condition of maintenance
  • Exterior inspection
  • Inspection cables, batteries and connections
  • Inspection of mechanical components
  • Cleaning of glass plate, measuring arc, inside and outside
  • Dimension and weight margin check
  • Infrared system inspection and calibration
  • Preparation of technical report with comments and recommendations

Service and technical support

Whatever the reason for a breakdown, the cause should be found and fixed as soon as possible. When we receive a fault report, we first try to find out the nature of the fault. Based on your information, we ask questions or look online. Our master data engineer knows the most common causes and telephone advice is often sufficient. If the cause cannot be identified or rectified in this way, our engineer will make an appointment to rectify the fault on site. For repairs resulting in the machine being out of operation for longer, we will work with our supplier to find a good solution.

Delivery and instruction

Delivery of MultiScan solutions (both buy/lease and rental) is by appointment. Our master data solutions engineer provides expert installation and connection of the total solution. This naturally includes instructing the operator(s) and supervising commissioning. All operations of the measuring and weighing process - both with the dimension scanner and associated tools and software - are discussed with the user(s).
